    Guidance Please

Are you able to take a picture of the droppings? That will definitely help others decide if it's a parasite of bacterial infection. Also make sure they are they are drinking enough water because they could become dehydrated from having so much diarrhea. Good luck!

Are you in Northern California? Alchemist farm has some beautiful breeds including cream legbars but they won't start hatching again until early next year. Papa's poultry has Speckeled Sussex and I believe they are still hatching chicks. I also just put a dozen olive egger eggs in my incubator...

I would say that's definitely a boy, his comb looks just like my Olive Egger cockerel's at 7 weeks. He is very pretty though!

To keep a rooster, or to not keep a rooster

The coop I have for my egg layers is a 10x10 run with a 4x10 house so I have enough room to keep 2 more birds. Plus they get to free range in the yard when we are home. I also do not have a problem culling birds. We have a separate flock of broilers that we've raised and have already had two...

I have a beautiful 12 week old olive egger cockerel names Pickles who is very respectful of humans, is great protecting his girls, and keeping the peace. He is 2 weeks older than his 7 girls and when they first moved out to the coop and were too small to roost, they would all snuggle up in a...

I got a mix of different breeds from Meyer Hatchery and my Production Red and White Leghorn are two peas in a pod. They have very similar personalities, are always together, and neither of them are flighty. Both of them are my friendliest birds as well, they come running to the run door even...
