Hey so I have(had) a two year old Rooster who has been free range his whole life, ready for the pot. I am hoping someone can tell me the best way to tenderize his meat and cook him (i'm assuming in a slow cooker).. I tried cooking one of our hens and it came out so tough you could hardly eat it.

So i'm new to hatching, my first hatch I got 12 out of 12 on from start to finish and I was very impressed with my chickens eggs. Second hatch was not as good the eggs were shipped and got here with poop all over them out of 24 eggs we got whopping 10 make it to lock down and only 7 hatch. BUT...
