I feel your pain. Sorry for your loss. That’s the thing with chickens we’re always learning. It’s a hard. Because we care. Chicken pets are different. They’re our little buddies.

That’s always a possibility. Especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. In some cases it’s actually merciful. I’ve done it successfully but I was at a point where the bird was in dire shape. He lived to be treated for his pendulous crop/sour crop in the end he was culled when the crop issue...

Chicken poo is the best fertilizer. I have a awesome tumbler/composter it never really took off until I started adding chick-poo.
Be careful if you ever make poop soup. I applied too much last year thought I killed my strawberries and grapes.

Last year they had golden cucumbers at the farmers market. They are wonderful. If picked young leave them in the window sill till slightly soft then refrigerate before eating. Loved loved loved them
Spaghetti squash is the most likely. Now I just need to figure out when it is able to be picked!
