Nope. Unfortunately they can not free range. They are in a very large covered run. Nothing could get in with them plus we are the only house with chickens for miles! First in our neighborhood to have them.

No crowing yet. I have had them all since one day old. They are now 6 months old. I haven’t lost any of them. I adore these damn chickens and spend tons of time with them. I have seen ALL of them in nest boxes but i guess one is trying to fool me. Ha!

The only one who could be a cockerel is a Silkie and they are impossible to figure out. I even thought that one layed an egg but i might be confused since i only have two silkies and they...
Oh no offense taken! These chickens are just pets to me. I love them no matter what! Hopefully we’ll get an egg or a crow from this one soon. The suspense is killing me!
I got him/her from My Pet Chicken so it’s a hatchery chick. Supposed to be all silkie. My other one isn’t as red and the comb is Way smaller at the same age...
