well one of mine had to have surgery and both were on antibiotics for 3 weeks . they are finally both completely healed up. Now I want to make sure nothing like that ever happens again. They were in their night pen, which was cattle panels, surrounded with chicken wire, and on top of the chicken...
I have 2 pet toulesse geese. They are almost a year and half old . I love them so much and I am always worried about them . They were attacked a couple months ago overnight in a night enclosure I thought was very safe. Ever since, they sleep in a pen inside my garage at night . I don't know what...
I went to check on my two pet Toulouse geese tonight and one of them had blood on his wing feather. Turns out he broke his blood feather. I applied pressure to it and it is no longer bleeding. I'm going to monitor him throughout the night and probably have him sleep by my bed. Do I need to pluck...
One last thing about an hour ago I noticed my more injured goose had blood on one of his feathers and after looking closer it is a broke blood feather . I held pressure on it and it's no longer bleeding right now. I'm going to keep a close watch on it all night. Do I need to pluck out that...
My male with Angel wing love being held , the other one will allow it but she don't particularly like it. They both get lots of kisses and they love head kisses . There very spoiled. A while back I was scared I would have to regime them because they were so loud. I cried for 2 weeks and decided...
My neighbors prob think I'm crazy. I bring blankets outside and sit with them. They climb right on the blankets and lay down . I usually aim their butts off the blanket lol

My geese were attacked 3 weeks ago in their pen overnight. One had some minor wounds on her head, the other had minor head wounds and a piece of his wing ripped off. I took them to my regular vet (which rarely sees birds) because there is no get near me that will. Anyways, the male had surgery...
