    See that’s what I was thinking too lavender Orpington. I got them from a local feed shop and they had it labeled as “blue” something but I forgot what the label said. Crazy they would have such a mixup.

    Yes! We have older hens and I kept her separated but while I was cleaning out their coop she got loose and one of my hens attacked her. I’ll clean her up - thanks for the advice!

    You guys are GOOD!! I had no idea what any of them might even be but it’s good to have an idea now. Now for the fun part.. figuring out which ones are hens/Roos All but the black one have furry feet. You guys are spot on! I knew y’all were experts. :D I appreciate the responses!

    Hi y’all! Can anybody give me some possibilities as what kind of breeds these Bantam chicks might be? The girl at Tractor supply had no idea! If it helps- the two lighter ones have feathers on their feet, black one does not. Thanks a bunch!

    Grapes.. ok! I’ll do that too. I’ll do whatever it takes to make them more comfortable. I have a feeling they are gonna be freaked out by grapes but they are curious enough. :eek: Thanks Relleoms. :)

    I think I can set up a fan for sure! Thank you. :D I heard of people giving them a big hunk of ice but I tried that and they got really scared of it. They are so skittish.

    Oh I did. That’s how I learned about the watermelon. Just thought I’d see some more tips than what I already found. ^_^ if we just google everything then what’s the point of a community!
