I never had this problem before neither, my birds walk around free on the ranch and they have tons of dust baths around. I imagine with the rain we've been getting the new birds didn't catch a chance for it... I'll try fill a litter box with ashes and dirt, I suspect it'll help and give me more...

I had a black australop rooster some years ago, he passed away mysteriously, never really knew what happened with the poor guy! They sure are stunning little dudes! that's a great list thank you very much!

I think you might be right! Yesterday she seemed like she wanted to get out of her cage instead of being passive as she has been lately so I let her out and she went back with her family, today she's out again without me forcing her out or anything, she seems to be better! her feathers are...

little update! So I have her in a cage since my last message, she drinks and eat, she also poop but havent laid an egg, I'm wondering if it might be because she has quite a few feathers growing back ? Beside that she doesnt seem much more active but she doesnt have much space to walk around in...

I didnt notice her walking differently but then again I didnt really thought of it and look for it... I wanted to give them all a bath with some vinegar too however it's getting a bit cold here in canada, would it still be safe if the temperature doesnt drop under 10C/50F ?

I only have two hens ahahah, but I havent seen their eggs in a week (either of them) and I'm suspicious they went find another spot since I did a big cleanout of their coop, I'll put an egg in there see if they come back to lay.
