Double checked this morning and found two with feathered legs! They were so very tiny it took some effort, so I guess marans it is!!! Thank you everyone!
Yes they do, why I was confused looking at them! The biggest thing was they looked so similar even though they were very different in size. Ah well, sex links it is
i have a chick and I can't tell what it is. It's supposed to be a sex link but looks like the smaller younger marans. So either I've all marans or all sex links... Anybody know?
I don't have any nutri-drench but can get some tomorrow. He is now opening his eyes and is drinking if I dip his beak. After about an hour of binding his legs he's standing better. Not all sprawled out on his belly. I haven't had any chick issues yet so am new to ICU for chicks
I have a new chick that has spraddle legs that I've bound but it still won't stand but rather lays face first in the bedding. It also won't open its eyes and only drinks if I dip his beak. Still can't get him to eat. I've already separated him from the group and brought him inside to watch him.
