    Well.. I'm not sure about my male though... he looks nice enough, but in another post, someone pointed out that his tail feathers dont have the distinct stripes it should have... is that something to be worried about?? His is a more mottled pattern... Here is a pic:

    So... since his tail doesnt have the clear lines... is he possibly crossed with something else?? Or is it a defect?

    So... I saw how much it would cost to get my hands on some F1 birds... ... I think I'll have to settle for what I have... lol But... if I breed my "pure" birds will I be able to tell if they are truely pure or crossed by their offspring??
