That is a great idea! Do you happen to have a photo? We had a successful day yesterday with having the 2 others in our original coop and then our Barred Rock in the coop with the 2 younger ones. She let them in the coop and then they all went in on their own last night!!
Thank you! That is very helpful! We do still have the old coop. We just have to winterize it a bit. The new coop that was built is extremely insulated which is why we built it for our winters. But we did talk tonight that we will try it with 2 in there for the winter and the other 3 in the new...
Ok, got it. So let me ask this. If we do rehome 2 of our original birds, and then keep our 2 new ones + 1 of the originals, is our current coop still going to pose a problem for the 1 original hen accepting and integrating with the 2 younger ones?
