    Will do! So far, so good. I made a separate cage area in the coop for them, so the other girls can see them and be around them, but can't get to them. We'll let them free range a bit tomorrow under supervision, then keep them in the separate area when they go back in the coop.

    so, my babies are 4 1/2 weeks old and they are losing feathers on their backs. It looks like new feathers are trying to come in, but its hard to tell.     Thank you, BlueBaby, I am a new chicken mommy! They are about 3 1/2 weeks old. I was told they're Ameracauna's, however, after doing some reading, I think they're a mix breed, which really doesn't bother me, as I wanted chickens for eggs, not to show. We've been picking them up every day...
