I'll certainly try to get some better pics asap! The comb is pretty much a yellowis-orange color, certainly not a skin color. What is a "production" RI Red?
I got CL at the beginning of the month & the store said they were all between 4-6 wks old. So that's the age imI going from, but I really...
I'm hoping someone may have a better idea now that most feathers are in. My C.L. seems kinda mean too LoL. Loves pecking my toes & fingers & well Everything too. Idk if that's just a bird thing or an attitude issue?
Anyway I'd love to know more certain the breed & sex please!!!
So I lost my white chick, my little Snowbird a couple days ago . My nephew (5y) let the dogs in accidentally & while I got the red chick, my white one ran from me... Right to a dog! But at least it was quick I guess. Her neck was broken. But now my little Red, aka: Chicken Little (CL) keeps...

Also should I let them have unrestricted access to the food & water 24/7 or just during the day or?? They're really pretty active, seem to be eating/drinking well, & don't make too much racket when they're "contained" unless one jumps on the other one. I feel like I'm missing something important...
Sorry to put up poo pics but I'm starting to see this A Lot but this morning until about noon they seemed like typical bird poos... I made a chicken feeder & waterer & they did have unrestricted access to both the water & crumbles all day. I'm just worried I'm doing Something wrong! Any help is...
I'm using a jar lid & a bottom part of a 2 litter soda bottle for water. I take it out when I go to bed so they don't drench their bedding... I'm a quick study lol only took one Immediate change of bedding. We tried using a shallow bowl for the feed but they didn't seem to know what it was but...
