    I deworm with Wazine twice a year during my hens molt so it doesn't effect their egg laying.     Defiantly de-worm them. Balance issues can be caused by internal parasites since their movements can effect the brain. What dewormer did you purchase?

    What a great idea! Some stuff I compost isn't chicken friendly (potato skins, coffee grounds, avocado peel, etc.) so I do like to have an actual separate pile.
