    It actually died this morning. It looked like it just had it's eyes closed. No swelling or anything abnormal. I did warm compresses and terramycin ointment. Never did get it to open it's eyes.

    I had a keet born two days ago under a broody hen. The keet has both eyes closed and will not open them. I have been treating with terramycin ointment and providing Poly-Vi-Sol vitamins. Any other recommendations?

    My leghorns looked like this during their molt in November. A few weeks after growing all their feathers back their combs turned red again. Give her a little time. Growing new feathers is hard work.

    I'm considering building a run in shed to house my turkeys. Would this be sufficient housing for them? I currently have them in the same coop and run with chickens, but want to separate them. Any pics or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I live in eastern NC, so winters aren't too harsh.
