Update at 11 weeks. Any help appreciated. The question is on the darker feathered red. We still really don’t know.

Production Red or Red Sex-Link? Gender?

Updated photos at 10 weeks, the one with the comb and wattles is the one that we can’t figure if it is pullet or cockerel. That it stands apart from the obvious pullets a lot of the time (see photo) pushes me to think cockerel

    Cockerel or pullet?

I’d guess just a faster maturing pullet, but that bird is so much different than the rest we keep wondering if it might be a cockerel. We will find out eventually

Production Red or Red Sex-Link? Gender?

Another couple photos at 8 weeks. You can see the comb and wattles are still much more developed on the darker bird than the others. We have no idea pullet or cockerel

Production Red or Red Sex-Link? Gender?

Thanks, fingers crossed they are all pullet, but annoyed that I ordered RSL and pretty sure I got a non sex-linked cross

Production Red or Red Sex-Link? Gender?

purchased some ‘RSL’ chicks from Local farm store because we can’t have roosters. They are 5 weeks old and look a lot more like production reds to me based on what I’ve seen in photos. Also one of these is not like the others- darker feathered, darker beak and larger comb. Any help appreciated...
