    I am rehoming some roosters. I am not sure about a couple of my babies. Could use some input, please. Maybe a guess to the breed. Not sure the person I got them from was very knowledgeable. Told me one was a marans but found out it wasn't accurate. No problem just wondering.

    I do. I have a temporary run set up next to where the older ones can have a view of them. The plan was to have them visible to the older ones for the next month or so before combining them together. I need the little ones to get a bit larger, too, before combining them together.

I have a dozen 6 to 8 week chicks that really need to be outside but I am really concerned about this crazy weather. Right now they're in my garage that I can keep a bit cooler with fans...

    I am going to try the non surgical approach first. I have watched the surgery procedures and am not comfortable doing that. But if there is no other way I'll have to put on my big girl pants and do it.
