This happens when I feed a canada goose some oats - one of the families has a parent that will bite their gosling if he eats the oats I scatter, and the gosling is not hogging it or anything - it is medium size by now / grey but doesn't have his feathers yet. A single bite causes him to shy away...
I thought that only the young < 6 weeks can get it... is it true that adults can get it? What about from plain rolled oats? Oats do contain a lot of protein, and that is thought to contribute to this disorder...
also can anyone think of something to add to salad lettuce spinach etc to make...
