I have only found the sex linked chocolates that, when bred to blue, produce mauve and do not produce the brown splash I'm looking for the brown dun that isn't sex linked. It's also said to produce the platinum color. I really don't want to start from scratch as I know the has to be someone...
Ok this generic color has to still be alive somewhere? Anyone know of a true Dun program??? It isn't sex linked like chocolate but behaves more like blue producing Dun/khaki/dun splash like black/blue/black splash.

I live in Florida and have some new Orpington chicks on order. I don't want their combs to become overly large. How long do I have to keep them in air conditioning or what can I do to prevent them from getting too big?
