9 Week Old Dominique Pullet Hunched Over and Puffy?

Okay, so I woke up this morning, went to check on them, and saw that Dumpling (the Dominique above) was foraging around with her sisters and looking normal again.

9 Week Old Dominique Pullet Hunched Over and Puffy?

Thank you. I'll pray that it is just overheating, since it has been a brutal summer here, and the water becomes warm within minutes. Her flockmates aren't showing the same symptoms. Also, I have been introducing the Dominiques to my Silkie and EE, so she may be kind of stressed over that.

Ok! So, their feathers all have laid down. I think it was just the feathers developing.

9 Week Old Dominique Pullet Hunched Over and Puffy?

One of my Dominique pullets is somewhat hunched over and puffy. She started showing this yesterday evening. I'll attatch some photos. She has a huge appetite, drinks well, and scratches around. She is quarentined in the office in the big brooder. Her poo is runny and white. Hopefully she...

Odd Ruffled Feathers on 6 Week Old Dominique Bantam?

Okay, it's just hard to get a good photo because the lights don't work in their room, my camera goes out of focus often, and they constantly want to move. I'll see what I can do.

Hey! Two out of 3 of my female sexed dominique bantams have a ruffle by the base of their tail, and I am confused on what it is. Any help?

    This is a Cockerel, Right?

I have a big feeling that this is a cockerel. If so, that's alright. We already have found him a new home where he can be a roo. Also, I'm pretty sure he's crowing already at 7 weeks (wow). (Skip to 0:30 for a full crow) This is an Easter Egger Bantam, by the way.

Sex of 1 Week Old Dominique Bantams? *PICTURE HEAVY*

Oh, okay. I thought dominique bantams could be sexed at hatching. They weren't vent sexed, so they had to be sexed with their features. Anyways, thanks for trying Kiki !

Sex of 1 Week Old Dominique Bantams? *PICTURE HEAVY*

These chicks confuse me. They have both the looks of pullets and cockerels from what I've seen online. Maybe their parents were hard to say too. Sorry, I forgot to say this on the thread

Sex of 1 Week Old Dominique Bantams? *PICTURE HEAVY*

I have gotten 3 Dominique Bantams a week ago, they were all sexed as pullets. Of course, I know there's a margain of error in sexing, although wit dominiques you can tell at hatching. CHICK 1 CHICK 2 CHICK 3 *Chick 2's other wing has more black on it than the one...
