    my point was that they are great layers and nice birds. You are right, they are fine in a barnyard mix, you just are not getting the mix you think you would. Had a few BSL and their chicks were a cute mess. My RSL had all most all white male chicks.

    My Neighbor had them, so it was a natural thing to buy a few off him. He loved them, I enjoyed them and wow what great egg layers! Had one rooster, he was my #2 out of 3. He cleaned up what #1 was not interested in.

    You know, he was not a bad rooster...he was just not as friendly to us or the ladies as some roosters are. He was not very aggressive to us, but was to a silver laced wyandotte roo I had.
