To treat or not to treat...

So I watched them for awhile and am not hearing anything of course! Here's a pic of my coop and run. Trying to get a video posted in a couple. Didn't catch a lot of it but something to give you a glimpse. There were daily storms around the time so I dont know if that is what stressed her out...

To treat or not to treat...

My flock is 8 pullets and one suspected silkie roo. My EE has an occasional sneeze sound but is acting great and eating well. I have a GLW who hiccups (although theres no diaphram in chickens) but not at night and is eating and drinking fine. I've researched online and it seems like EE is...

    BO 14w roo or hen?

I had another that crowed so he had to move on. I was thinking this was looking more like a hen before but those tail feathers make me question... my other bo crowed about 3 weeks ago

    Sex guess? Silkie and SLW

Thanks! Ill try to get comb pics on the silkies and know its likely too early. I'm super sad if the wyandottes are roos. My silver and gold lace were all supposed to be pullets, but I suspect both SLWs may be roos because of their tail feathers...

    Sex guess? Silkie and SLW

Hi all! New backyard chicken lady here wanting some thoughts on my 12 w old chicks! Silkies I know may be too early, but why not ask! I'm concerned that my SLW are looking more rooish due to their tail feathers compared to their GLW counterparts... Any thougts appreciated!

    Freestanding hanging feeder?

Great thoughts! Thanks! I was hoping too to not have feed ruined by the rain. We have 11 birds that will be thinned out after we know who our roos are.

    Freestanding hanging feeder?

I'm on my first batch of chickens and just bought a hanging feeder. Problem is that my coup is prefab and doesnt have solid enough construction to hang from the wood. I'm wanting ideas of how to still hang the feed but not from the coop! Thanks!
