    Quail egg incubation

    I have Brinsea mini advanced incubator and I’d like to know if this incubator can be used without water/ humidity? I tried to incubate coturnix eggs with the humidity and failed. I have read where dry incubation is, for some, a better hatch ratio. So can this baton just run on temp alone? Thanx

    Our problem here other than the coyotes and bobcats is javalina. Very destructive and mean and they smell worse than a skunk. I’m in the process of putting up a electric fence to keep them off the patio ugh!

    I’m going to enclose the top of the dog kennel with chain link so that should help. I’ll make it a fortress

    Good point. I ran short on the hardware cloth and had some of the chicken wire. Needed to get the birds more space. I’ll get mor HC and shore it up. Thanx for the tip

    They do. I have a fan on them, pan with water and frozen water bottles. It’s been in the 90s and so far they have been ok. It only took me a few days to build them and yes the hardware cloth is terrific. I used some 1” chicken wire on the smaller pen on two sides. It seems to be ok. Both pens...
