Guys! I had 3 eggs this morning!
Today is the fourth day that I've been home. I've discovered that one of my hens is molting but the rest (9) are not. I checked everywhere for any predator signs, made sure nothing is spooking them, and triple checked they could not be getting out of their area...
Hi folks! So I made it home today. I looked high and low for eggs. Under everything I could look under. No eggs in sight! They seemed extremely happy to see their mama! I did notice one of my girls is molting but the rest seem normal. If I get eggs soon, I will let you know!

Hi folks! My friends call me the crazy chicken lady. I'm 23 years old and have a love for all things chicken! My flock consists of red sex links, a silver laced Wyandotte, and a silkie. No roosters, ladies only! I look forward to hearing from you all!
I pretty much saved these girls from a bad situation. I picked these beauties up today and lady I got them from has no clue what they are. To me they look like Black Copper Marans, but she says their eggs are light brown and don't they usually lay very dark brown eggs?
My question. Do you think...
