Hoping to use this site for good chicken advice

Update on my girl. She unfortunately passed away on the 4th of July. I did have a necropsy done by my vet and she was diagnosed with Salpingitis (inflammation of the oviduct). I included a picture from the necropsy below. Based on the information I received and what I read online she most...

How do I know if she has fluid build up or if it's a mass built up from internal laying? The other video showed solid masses that were taken out of the hen. I'm not sure I could do this myself but I would certainly have the vet do it if she in fact has fluid built up.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to offer advice and opinions. I never expected this kind of attention with my intro. I'm very humbled. I hope this will have a happy ending but it really doesn't look good. It's soooo hard to watch your pet dying and not know how to help them. The...

Yes. She even started to look like she was improving at one point and started laying again, but it didn't last long. Maybe one week and then she got pale again and stopped laying and eventually passed.

It felt hard I guess. Almost like what a full crop would feel like. I didn't really squeeze it though.

Yes they free range, when I'm around. I don't usually let them out unless I'm nearby since I live in an area prone to fox. From what I can tell they don't have mites or lice. These are my first chickens. I have 3 young ones that I just got end of April. My first hen was sick before I got...

I did the abdomen check and it's twice the size of my healthy hen. It's very extended. What could that mean?

How old are these birds? A birds not laying for a long period of time suggests a reproductive issue. I see you have had them for 2 years but do you know how old they were when you got them? A healthy hen should continue to lay up to 8+ years of age, so your Barred Rock not laying for a year...

Also, the issue being reported in the following message thread is really similar to what mine are going through: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/yellow-runny-poop.842757/ Here are some pictures (before and after of my leghorn) and what the poop looks like.

I'm fairly new to chickens. Had 3 for two years and lost one recently to an unknown illness (she was a white leghorn). Now another hen (a barred rock) has the same symptoms and I don't think she's going to make it. Hoping to be able to ask questions and get some advice from those who have...
