    Too many roosters hatched

Four months ago I incubated some chicks (my first time) The 1st batch, out of 6 eggs, only 1 hatched, a rooster. 2nd. batch 4 eggs, all hatched, 2 roosters, 2 hens. The young roosters seem to be getting along fine (for now) but I have them separated from the daddy rooster, and his harem. Not...

It's hatch day, but humidity dropping

This is my first time incubating chicks. Today is 21st day and I have one chick breaking out! So exciting! But the humidity is dropping to 45%. Can I open and add water if chick is already coming out? Concerned about the others.

    Newbie to the flock

Recently decided to raise chickens, despite some former hen owners trying to talk me out of it. Thankful to find this site & forum, excited to learn and contribute.
