    If it didn't move in the water it's probably a goner. Sorry. You can pip a hole on the large end to see if theres any movement inside.

    Any luck? If he pipped over 24 hours ago most of the veins should be absorbed by now. I usually just unstick the head and let it push it's way out by using its legs.

    Thanks everyone. I treated them all with straight drops of Corrid to the beaks then in their water for 5 days. No one else has died so far. Now I know even chicks I hatch and those never being outside before can get coccidiosis too.

    He's gorgeous, those greens and purple! I have a Sumatra pullet but she's only 8 weeks and not showing any other colors beside blacks. Wish she was friendly, probably the most skittish of all my chicks her age. Sorry, can't have roosters.

    Been busy hatching! My original 12 is down to 6 as I had to sell 2 roosters, 3 pullets and the dog got one pullet. Total of 14 outdoors and 14 indoors, 20 eggs on day 21 though only 1 pip and starting a whole new batch with all silkie eggs.

    Serama Hatching Adventure

    So cute! 7 out of 12 is pretty good. I only have 3 in lockdown now out of 10 serama eggs. But my last 3 that went into lockdown are all doing pretty good and I'm happy to also have a yellow, a black and a frizzle yellow/black.

    Minnesota!

    I currently have Mille Fleur, just hatched a few Serama and Silkies. A lot of different breeds for regular size fowl, I'm one of those who want to see variety in her backyard. I'm going on vacation Sept 19th so will probably not need any until I get back. Ok if I message you then?
