Hi - I came across Alima Backyard Chickens on facebook. They are located in Ohio, they offer local delivery and ship. But before I order from them, I want to know if anyone here had ordered from them before? Are they legit?
Here is their FB profile...
Hi, I was having trouble logging in but finally I'm here. Phew. I have 6 out of 9 eggs hatched. They are doing well but I did have to help the last one since it was having trouble to get out of the shells. Yay (hopefully most of them are girls!) I will post photos when I got home.
I don't know what breed they are. I got 8 of them (Jumbo Eggs) from a local store similar to Trader Joe while the other one, I took from one of the eggs in the nesting box.
If I recall correctly, I see 3 spidery veins out of 9 eggs but I also thought I see black circle with some of the eggs ♀️ I will try to take more photos.
We put 9 fertile eggs (8 from our local farm store and 1 from our chicken, not sure what breeds they are) in the incubator. Our eggsperiment so far and it’s day 9. It looks like we have baby chicks growing, here are some pics, what do you think?
Hey Ron, I'm thinking of getting fertilized eggs from Trader Joes, do you think it's a good idea? Also getting this one https://www.amazon.com/Incubator-Automatic-Temperature-iTavah-Chickens/dp/B074T8L2KR instead of Brinsea. What do you think? :)
Everyone meet SunBae (top pic with Penelope the cat), Rieko and Ioane. They are so sweet and they always wait by the door when we get home from work. I think they recognize the sound of our car
We have 3 Ayam Cemani. They are beautiful, love them. I am from Indonesia and my family owns several Ayam Cemani for pets back home. But then again, I am obsessed with chickens :)
