    She’s a sweet girl and raised 6 adopted chicks after her brood didn’t hatch. By 6 weeks they were bigger than her but she still tried to tuck them under her wings.

    I’m all about full disclosure so I will include that in the description. It was suggested that he needs more hens but we only have 2 that he watches and 2 that he ignores. he came from a friend’s backyard. She has a ton or different breeds. That Cochin in the back was from her as well.

    george is a year old rooster we got as a chick last year. He’s very protective of his hens but is aggressive towards me. We will be trying to rehome him soon and would like to include his breed in the description. Any ideas?

    It was hatched in a friend’s daughters classroom. Our broody hen adopted the 6 of them. Still trying to figure out the breeds. I guess we got 5 Roos out of the bunch. I think the others are 3 BCM (one being the pullet), a gray EE, and a barred rock

    There’s another that looks similar behind her but has no white in the wings and has very pronounced tail feathers. I’m certain that’s a cockerel.
