    I would try giving her a nest box and see if she will make a nest. If she does she is more than likely ready to breed.

    the “fuzzy” spot is just from the roosters feet or claws breaking the feathers there when he breeds,In my opinion that is just normal all of my hens get it from time to time, it just means he is breeding a lot and being a good rooster if you are wanting to hatch your own chicks.
