I have 5 hens the Ee whom laid 1st is 24 weeks and I have a SLW same age and not laying/squatting. My barred rock whom was the second to lay is 31 weeks! And I have a welsummer 31 wks not laying but squatting. And my baby a BO 22 weeks old niether laying nor squatting.

so my EE started laying on the 14th, which I shared with you all, and then on the 19 my barred rock surprised us with HER first egg. Yaaay!!! Loving 2019 already.

So there was a very thin layer I couldn't get off the shell but it's still really neat to see, thank u for the tip. My son enjoyed seeing his work finally paying off hes 3 so he was pretty patient in waiting this long

a Barred Rock & a Welsummer are 29 weeks the BR is squatting W practices the "egg song" at random times. But these girls should lay brown eggs...
There's also Parmesan crusted chicken it's super easy to make. U mix mayo, Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs then bake for about 25 mins and viola! I pair it with a garden salad and sauteed mushrooms or mashed potatoes. Even my 3 year old loves this, salad and all! Either google or I can give...
