Hi
I have 2 pekin bantams and 1 polish, 1of the pekin was broody for around 5 weeks she was always in the nest box unwilling to come out, I would get her up every morning so she could eat and drink and back to bed she'd go. I even tried closing the door to the nest box in the hope she'd snap out...
Hi we found only last night that one of our girls is in fact a boy, the crowing was a five away, please see pic - he is the beautiful grey one at the front, I just wanted to be safe and ask if anyone knows the little one behind him (Brown/golden) is this boy or girl? Thank you
We have what we thought was 3 girls, 2 peking and 1 polish... they all seem to get on fine and there doesn’t appear to be or have been any fighting between them
Our other bantam is polish, and early on she was the dominant one, but recently she seems to have taken a back seat and this one now seems to be dominant, is this because it’s a boy? Would that make sense
Hi we have had our 3 “girls” for couple months now, and last few days one of them has started crowing around 6am in the morning. I thought only boys crow. Could anyone tell me if she a girl or in fact a boy...she has a large comb and big woddle... . I think boy
Hi I have 3 young bantams only had them 3 weeks, 2 bantams use the perch bar to sleep at night, but one seems happy In the nest box. Is this ok. She doesn’t seem like it bothers her. Should I be worried?

Thank you for the reply, mine are all in together, while she is being chased and occasionally pecked, it doesn’t seem to bad at the moment, she seems to be giving it back to the other bantam, but what would you advise to do at night, should I close the door to their nest box, and get up early to...
Hi. I am trying to introduce a new bantam to my other 2 bantams, one of my bantams is pecking the new one and chasing her, as I am new to this I am really worried if I close their sleeping area at night, the new one won’t be able to escape if the other starts pecking her, would she be ok, or...
