Could someone please help me sex these silkies?

Awww yours is the same size as #5, who is the same age as the others, only small. Hopefully this doesn't mean all the other are roosters! 😳 I'll update next week and keep updating until it becomes clear.

Could someone please help me sex these silkies?

Thanks! I will post weekly updates so we can check their progress. I agree with you, the first one is definitely a cockerel.

Could someone please help me sex these silkies?

Chick #1 is 7 weeks old I am pretty sure it's a roo. Dominant, always chest-bumping, streamers, large comb, extrovert, really friendly. The others are all 5 weeks old. Chick #2 is possibly a hen. Smallish, round feminine crest, delicate beak, friendly, likes perching on me. Chick #3 is...

Cream legbar chick, male or female?

This one os definitely a boy. The darker one, definitely a girl. How about the one that looks in between?

Cream legbar chick, male or female?

Sure, will do once I open the incubator. Here's a video of the little one, a little bit drier. The yellow dot concerns me...

Cream legbar chick, male or female?

The first one to hatch 🐣 There's a tiny yellow spot on the head and the markings are somewhat blurry... but it's quite dark and definitely has the eyeliner going. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance 🙂

    Oh no, not another boy?

He finally crowed today at 30 weeks (7 months) old. Took his time, eh?

    Oh no, not another boy?

Here are some close up pictures. Still can't see pointy or shiny feathers... I will wait another couple of weeks and post another update. No crowing or laying yet.

    Oh no, not another boy?

Thanks for sharing. She looks way more ladylike than ours. What throws me is the feathers really, ours should have some adult feathers by now... don't you think? Maybe she's just a little late with everything because she was so sick.

    Tail feathers

    Oh no, not another boy?

Here are a few pictures of today. She doesn't seem to have any of the pointy male feathers. In fact, she hardly has any feathers at all, it's mainly fluff. The comb and wattles are getting bigger and redder though...

    Oh no, not another boy?

Very small... she's slow developing if anything. Cookie's voice is starting to break, whereas Tiny still sounds like a chick.

    Oh no, not another boy?

Oh no :( This all developed in the last week or so, as she/he got better. I can't keep roosters at the allotment, but there's no way I'm letting this one go, it's the nicest friendliest bird I've ever seen:(

    Oh no, not another boy?

These are the two Pekin girls we got to replace our previous girl who turned out to be a boy. They're around 17 weeks old now. The lavender one, Tiny Tornado, was very sick when she came. She had a respiratory disease which the vet treated with antibiotics. Then, as she got better, her comb and...

    Help! Is this Marek's disease?

I really do hope you're right. I bought her some Nettex Nutri-Drops and I am going to worm them all and apply some ivermectin on their necks as well. This should cover the parasites. Fingers crossed it's just a respiratory infection and the vet can sort her out with some antibiotics. She's my...

    Help! Is this Marek's disease?

We got a couple of new pullets two days ago, and one of them seems odd. She nods her head up and down a lot when sleeping, but not when she's awake. She also has very laboured breathing when sleeping. I googled the symptoms and I am now terrified she could have Marek's disease. She has light...
