    Hatched 4 days ago, mum is a frizzle cochin and dad a silkie. All 3 chicks are different colours?! Is it too early to tell if they will be frizzle yet?

    Hi, it's been a while since I hatched my flock in the incubator (2years old now). So we decided to let our broody golden top sit on 3 eggs (frizzle mum, silkies dad).     Fertile????

    I've just removed the 4 eggs she's been sat on for 13 days. Do I wait for the others to lay some more today and give her those or wait for a while?? That was the only egg I've cracked so far and it's been a winner! I used to be a hairdresser so I may have to get trimming the fluffy butts up!!

    They are all silkies except one is a frizzle, but she took eggs off some of the others! No idea which are hers . He's always treading them so I just assumed they would all be fertilized! Black cockerel stormy

    I didn't think it was . He is 11 months old, he's always been in with the 4 hens same age. Why would they not be fertile?? Quite disappointed! Poor hens still sat on 4 eggs
