    Molting time frame?

I am going to go get some meal worms. I have figured out how to separate her to ensure what she eats. I thank you so much for the answers. Will let you know how it goes.

    Molting time frame?

I believe it may be protein levels. The rooster doesn't go after her and no she never regained them.

    Molting time frame?

The rooster does not mount her. He goes after the other 8 hens. I feed them all pellets, but that is more calcium. Would meal worms help? I can't really separate her right now because our separation coop has a broody on a nest. How can I ensure she eats the proteins?

This hen is 18 months old. She molted 6 months ago and still looks like this. Will she ever regain her feathers?

Thank you. Will try that tonight. I just hope she goes back. If not we have a couple more hens that may.

    Moved and she abandoned HELP

We moved the eggs to the smaller coop Saturday night and now she won't sit on the eggs. It is Sunday and she isn't sitting anymore. She wasn't eating or drinking the bigger coop with the rest so we moved her. Is there a way to get her to take back to the eggs

    Relocating troubles

Thanks for all of the replies. I took the chairs off the front porch and used a spray bottle. Now two of them go home but the other two wait outside of the coop. Have to shoo them in. The rooster gives me the most trouble dancing around and running around the coop.

I am going to try something and if it doesn't work I will send pics. I have had them locked up for days because of red tail taking birds. Thanks

    Relocating troubles

Thanks for the suggestions guys, we have done them all to no avail. They still insist on climbing on the porch. One of them started out going home but even she has stopped. The younger ones continue to go to bed but the four older ones don't.

    Relocating troubles

A month or so ago my husband built a new coop in the backyard. We moved the new flock into it. We moved the old coop beside it from the other side of the house, home of my four older chicks. My dilemma that now the older ones won't go to the coop at bedtime. They wait on the front porch and we...

    Paula's Chicks
