    Oh Backyard family,please help! If anyone has experience in successful call duck hatching please I need your tips. They have been dying in egg like two days before the hatch day! I have a self turning incubator and temp and humidity are fine. Any help I would appreciate!

    Are you saying you have hatched a half silkie,half call duck? And my female is the silkie which is a heterogeneous so her feathers aren't very silky. My call duck male is white.

    Ya know..they look squeezable, but they're flighty birds. I dream about doing just that,but they won't have it. Not many people have this breed anymore I think that could be why. Definately make good ducks to show off though! Lol
