Question of the Day - Friday, August 1st, 2025

Yes, I will take them from 'most anyone! I especially love long hugs with family and cuddles with my hubby or little sister.

    Wyoming Unite!!!!

A few months ago, I had someone hover in my blind spot for several hundred feet (couldn't see them in any mirrors or over my shoulder when I was looking for a long while). I went to merge and they laid on the horn! I couldn't scoot back over because there was someone already taking over my spot...

    Wyoming Unite!!!!

That's fair! Lots of crazy drivers and noisy people coming from down there, aside from regular touristing. Husband did a bulk shopping haul the week before, lol. It's nice to have some order back.

Any guesses on breed for these three?

Gotcha, it looked very rosey from the blur. Could be a barred rock, then!

    Hellooo! Cheyenne here!

    Is this rude?

Pssht, southerners. It's hot and humid from May to September, tolerably temperate and sometimes pleasant for 2-3 months all told surrounding those months, then it's cold. Unless you live in or near Cleveland. Then you're going to be cold, and you probably don't like yourself. XD

    What made you happy today?

Thank you!! And yay for the vacuuming and stair climbing, so glad to hear that you are improving! I have found with the second trimester, that my body has been a lot more resilient, which makes me really excited. Usually, good days would be followed by a few days of "flaring", but that hasn't...

    Wyoming Unite!!!!

Anyone come for CFD, or is that old news for you long-time Wyomingites? This was my first summer here, and I had a lot of fun with my visiting family wandering Frontier Park and watching the rodeo.

    Is this rude?

But skibidi is supposed to mean something's "bad" or "not right"... I think. XD
  12. SunriseChickers

    Is this rude?

Yeah, I don't know what it means, but it's intelligible for them... right? Reddit says it's entirely context dependent.

    Is this rude?

Add something about drip and toilets... brah... Idk. XD

Is this chicken blind or is something else going on?

Ah, yes, that's the difference I was thinking of, thank you! It's been a while since I researched about them - my family purchased Americanas a good while back, and when researching the breeds we were quite confused by the conflicting information until I discovered the "trick".

Current Movies - Thumbs UP or Thumbs DOWN

My family did watch the 1917 movie, and it was alright. The main draw was that it was made to look as if it were shot in one or two continuous scenes, no cuts. Quite fascinating, cinematographically, a new thing to me. Lawrence of Arabia is a favorite of mine, one to note for real, wonderfully...

    What made you happy today?

I did so much today! Well, so much for me. I have a chronic illness and am pregnant, so everything is hard, but I am really proud of what I was able to do today, and I'm so happy! Things I did that are outside of my normal capability include: Making the bed, hung up laundry to dry and folded...

    Is this rude?

Always "yes please" and "no thank" you for me! Though my parents tried to make us use "ma'am" and "sir" as kids. It never stuck, though my maternal grandparents are from Kentucky. The grandparents call us "ma'am" or "miss" all the time. I'm the least generation Z "zoomer" you're going to meet...

Any guesses on breed for these three?

That's a good thought. I didn't know what it was, but it seemed like it had far too much black to be a barred rock.

Is this chicken blind or is something else going on?

A x2 for the Ameraucauna, sometimes spelled Americana. It's a name/difference in spelling given by breeders to certain types of Easter Eggers to make people think of the coveted purebred Araucana. ETA: Read the next post! I was half wrong. 😅
