    I raise them for meat and eggs, and the eggs, while smaller, are extremely dense, and packed with vitamins. They are very easy to process. I can process one bird in about 3 minutes. There are many different colors, too.

    They are only about the size of your hand, and I've seen people raise 20 in a 2x3 square foot cage with no apparent ill effects. They are about 1/10 the size of chickens, so it would be equivalent to giving a chicken 10 square feet.

    Badly wounded Bird! In dire need of help!

    I cut away the feathers, and cleaned the wound with saline, and let him rest for a couple of minutes. I came back and he had passed away, presumably from blood loss. Thank you all for your help and God bless you all.

    yes, he is away from flies and gnats, and yes, he is awake. He is acting strange though. He is sluggish, and is not moving away from me as I try to pick him up.
