    Is it ok to have straw under where the lamp is? And wow .how old are they when they can clear the tub? ?They are about to or 6 days now I was told . .never even thought about them jumping out if the tub!!!

    I do, I have a great coop ready my hubby built for me. We are in SW Florida so it's warm most of the winter. As soon as they are ready they will be out there!

    Thank you, I have the light at one end so they can move awsy, and some straw at the other end, just a little. They seem to like to play and scrach in it. I bought a bale at the feed store and keep it in the garage, figure I would change it every 2-3 days?

    Thanks! I realized maybe they weren't warm enough last night and that's why they were so noisy.Much happier today with a warmer red light and they can move away from it when they want to.
