    From what I can tell it is vent gleet, which somehow I only heard of quite recently? So I will quarantine her, and try to wash her vent very frequently. I still don’t know what caused this but hopefully I can get her back into shape. Are there any particular probiotics good for hens?

    Yes! My hens do not take kindly to being bossed (especially by the puppy), but since I got drakes I have the waterfowl separated. Honestly I think my ducks could use a bit of herding :p Thank you!

    I did consider that- as long as they are not as loud and as often as a crowing rooster it should be okay? I’ve dealt with that issue and it’s definitely a few decibels above acceptable!

    We did, but no replies so far, and he’s now at the shelter- he was getting kind of aggressive and had to go :( But that’s usually the place people check for a lost pet, so hopefully he’ll be found.

    Found a lost dog? He’s orange, with a little white around his muzzle. Anyone know of this? We’re in the Raleigh/Wake Forest area. He’s seems pretty tired so he could’ve traveled awhile.
