I think that 3 drakes with one female Muscovy is to many. I have one drake to 7 females and other ducks in my flock. I have 6 drakes to 10 females. Right now it's mating time at our farm i'm hoping to get eggs soon
I have Muscovy Ducks out with the chickens every spring till fall. But i have a male Muscovy that goes after the Rooster's i don't know how to stop him. In the summer time they have a coop outside of the barn and the chickens are in the barn.
He was. All my bantam Roo's are sweet though. He is a mix between silky and nh red bantam. He use to be my daughters but it was a Roo and she didn't want him so i took him.
You could try putting a screen or chicken wire over the top to stop them from getting out. We let ours free range they only bother blueberry bushes so far.
I do enjoy mine. I have a Wyandotte in my big coop that has one eye and she did have a hole in the top of her head I saved her. My daughter wanted me to put her down I said no way.
