    That’s good to know. I’ve always gotten my chicks from hatcheries and they gone zooming around but they call them day old chicks lol

    You can buy a cheap brooder pen from tractor supply or use a dog run pen to put babies in during the day.. have a run but I put my babies in a round dog pen during day and back in coop at night. I do this for about 2 weeks gets the old chickens used to them and gets them used to being outside...

    Sorry to be a pain it’s my first hatch. 4 have hatched the first one took about a 1/2 day to start really walking she’s still unbalanced a bit my other 3 still are not running or walking as well as she is they hatched abt 12 hours after her is this normal? I do not see any curled toes or splayed...
