It was originally not mine, i was keeping it for a few weeks as a young chick, 6 months later it’s still here. And part of our flock. Wondering if this one is a pullet or cockerel. Nugget wouldn’t stay very still for photos, so these are the best i got.
This little one has been confusing us for a while now. It’s 9 weeks old and all we know is that the mom was a silkie/serama mix and the fathers breed is an unknown mix.
Here is little Loki at 6 weeks old, I’ll have to go out later and get a newer full body picture. Head pictures are from this morning. We are still leaning towards pullet.
I am looking to find a good home for our rooster. He is super sweet. He is about four months old and we are not able to keep him. He is located in Dixon, IL. Please contact me if willing to accept this little guy and provide a good home to him.
I’m guessing it normal for Enyo, as it’s always the one that comes running to me and jumping into my hands. As for the silkie part, that would have to be their mother since they don’t have any mixed hens laying yet.
We grabbed a few fertile eggs from my mother and ended up with three little chicks. We have no idea what breeds they are other than the fact they are mixed .I know it’s probably a little to early to even tell but wouldn’t mind any guesses. They are six weeks old now.
