Also, I have noticed that all 5 have sort of irridescent (sp?) patches on their cheeks since they have started laying. Is this normal? I don't remember my last batch of chickens having this.
This questionable chicken is also the most tame, she lets me pick her up when all of my others are almost...

Was it a "soft" egg. If one of my ladies lays a soft egg, it will get eaten. Not sure why they have stopped laying, were they laying regularly before that?
