    Which sex is this one...

Yup. So different having sweet turkeys vs chickens. Roosters can be vicious if they feel threatened. It's so nice having calm males.

    Size of egg after clutch.

This is our first year producing baby chicks. When the brooder starts laying again is it normal sized eggs or do they go back to pullet size? And if they don't get broody and another hen lays on the eggs do the original hen go back to laying faster?

    Pullet, cockrel, or standby?

I have many females that have red in thier combs and wattle. I dont thing color has a big effect.... But I was told from a hatchery if the inside feathers of a birds wings are even, or cut off looking at a young age its a rooster. Long uneven feathers are female. I think I see some pullets in...

8 week old mystery bird. Breed & gender?

Plymouth Barred Rock Rooster. Quick check. If you strech out thier feathers the set closest to the body... If they are even-ish they are roosters. If they are 2 very detictive layers of wings its a pullet. At least this works on rocks, favorolles, and Cornish crosses. It's easier to tell the...

    Hen or rooster... So confused....

Yes I got it from tractor supply. But he looks just like a favorelle. I would put it more of a mixed breed than them mixing the chickens. The white one looks just like a favorelle 5th toe, feathered feet, puffy cheeks... Except the color.

Yes they are free range. Thanks y'all for answering. I did all that you suggested and they aren't exactly happy about it but the original 5 have mostly accepted the newer birds. But one has been a big bully... Any suggestions on how to keep her from being a bully?
