They are just over 5 months old. They look nice but also have 2 other Roos and 2 of these 3 have started getting more aggressive with my 6 hens so they are likely headed for the pot. Don’t need 5 roos for 6 hens. Only actually want one but was going to leave them go if they got along together...
I went real simple. It’s just going to sit on a shelf in the coop. Can’t see in the picture but I left about a one inch gap in the back at the top for a little air flow.
Just finished up the nesting boxes for my new chickens. I still need to get a dowel rod to mount in front on the bottom trim. Few more weeks until they’ll be ready for the coop.

New to BYC and first time chicken owner but have lived in PA all my life. Just moved to a small farm in Berks County in December and am excited to start my chicken flock. Got 12 chicks 3 weeks ago and they've already grown so much!! Just wanted to say hi!!
