No, she has only one hind toe. The more I look at her I'm beginning to think EE/NN mix. She must think I'm crazy because I stare at her and study her and the look at pictures on google lol!
My fiancé said she was being picked on and he couldn’t bear leaving her to be bullied. The man he got her from said she is a nn mixed with something else. Believe it or not she has some little feathers trying to grow now that she’s not being pecked anymore. With her ear tufts and all I’m...
I thought that too. A neighbor said maybe auraucana nn mix. I wonder what color her eggs will be? She hasn’t laid yet probably because she’s still getting used to her new surroundings and she’s still quarantined from my other girls.
I’ve had a delightful five month old pullet for a little over a week now that my fiancé got for me. I know she’s part NN, but I’m not sure what the other part is. She has ear tufts and a beard and the back of her neck is featherless. What do y’all think?
Hello my fellow mid tn BYC members! I’m so happy I was directed to this thread and please forgive me if I ask too many questions. I’m fairly new to keeping chickens and have much to learn
I have a fairly large hen house and a smaller coop in a 20x30 fenced in yard that my sons are going to expand to 30x70. I hope that’s enough space. I also have 17 girls for them. I plan on having around 20-25 hens and hopefully that will keep them happy
I now have two cockerels and 17 hens/pullets. Five of my girls are a year and a half old. Hopefully my girls will keep them too busy to fuss with each other
