So I started feeling pretty sure that the darker EE was a roo last week (they were hatched Feb 22 so I think that makes them between 7-8 weeks). I sad this one is a roo and will wait a bit longer before trying to find him a home.

We are starting to suspect we have two roos... here is the other one:

But she/he doesnt have the saddle feathers or the same development of the comb, just very upright when startled.
Chicks are about 6-7 weeks old... this one is the friendliest, first to come, loudest, and often sticks it head up (actually one behind we are wondering about too, its a Australorp and has long tail feathers but none curve downward).
