I wonder if it matters that it's only one eye?? Somewhere I read it could be an injury that changes their eye color.
Nothing I've found says whether it affects both eyes and is it going to kill her?
This hen is 3 years old, she's been with a flock of 5 birds for years, no one else has this, I believe it's a recent change... she doesn't appear to be blind in either eye as she looks at you out of both sides of her head. She is a happy go lucky, plucky little girl, she eats, drinks, forages...
