Observed the total eclipse in Seymour Indiana. 3min 9 second totality. I figured @mdees88 and others could do a better job captureling the moments in images so I just relaxed and enjoyed. Couldn't resist one cell phone shot at the peak of totality. It wasn't total darkness, more like sunset...

Fancy, my Black Copper Maran started laying last month. She lays a beautiful chocolate egg every day and I run in to snatch it up. Today I found this egg covered in her feathers. I guess she was trying to hide it from me!

I have to admit after photographing the eggs I blew them out to save the eggs. Scrambled eggs for breakfast!. Hopefully now I can crack them like regular eggs. I'm still pretty thrilled ☺️
