I didn't think it would be an issue.
Thanks for the quick response to everyone. :thumbsup
I did go ahead and give them the stuff. I have an Americana that looks like she's not feeling well :(this evening when I got home from work which is why I decided to give the supplements.
I have not noticed her falling over or anything. She seems to walk just fine, chasing bugs, playing in the water all appear normal. She does have another duck boyfriend that6 with her along with 8 chickens(hens). I haven't exactly felt her belly but I have held her and didn't feel anything...
I have a female duck that randomly let's out a series of 4 or 5 extremely loud quacks, it almost sounds like she is stressed about something! I have not found any of her eggs in several weeks, I'm not sure if something is eating them or if she's not laying? How would I know if she is egg bound...
She will probably be a treasure trove of knowledge if she doesn't mind you asking questions and you have the time to listen to her advice. This forum is also a bombshell of knowledge and help. I've only been a member for a short time and the people here have helped me tremendously
Man I love this forum, the replies are fast and the help is tremendous, thank you all. So it's a once in a blue moon thing it sounds like to me. I will feel lucky to have experienced this.
I gathered the eggs yesterday evening and I had a tiny egg. It's about the size of a Robin egg. I've never seen this before. I have 2 americaunas so I don't know if it's from the same bird or not cause I have 2 blue eggs.
I setup a small coup integrated into my main coup for my 10 week old chickadees and quackers. After 2 weeks of some what supervised free range time with the 1 year olds I just let everyone stay together after the younger chicks started sleeping in the coup with the big girls.
Again wow thank you all for the replies. I've attached some pics, kinda hard to hold her and get pics. I add ACV to their water every fill up, 1oz per gallon. We give them several hand fulls of dried mealworms at time to go in the coop area. The 1st pic is there food 2nd pic is on her back...
